4.Full Manual Control: Delivers a pure manual photography experience. Both aperture and focus must be controlled manually via the rings on the lens. The camera must be set to Manual (M) mode with stop-down metering.
5.Specific Compatibility: Designed specifically for Minolta MD-mount manual focus lenses. Please be aware: It is NOT compatible with the older Minolta MC-mount lenses. Verify your lens mount before use.
Important Usage Notes:
1.Primary Purpose: This is a macro/close-up adapter, NOT a general-purpose infinity-focus adapter. Its main function is to drastically reduce the minimum focusing distance for high magnification. It cannot achieve focus at infinity for normal-distance photography.
2.Camera Settings: After installation, the camera MUST be set to Manual (M) mode. For exposure, set the desired aperture on the lens, then use the camera's stop-down metering (depth-of-field preview button) or Live View. Using a tripod is highly recommended.
