Important Notes
1.Fully Manual Operation: This is a purely mechanical adapter with no electronic contacts. All automatic functions—including autofocus, lens EXIF data transfer, and VR synchronization—are not supported. Focusing is entirely manual; using focus peaking or magnification assist is recommended.
2.Basic Camera Setup: You must enable the "Release Without Lens" option in your Nikon 1 camera menu. Use Manual (M) mode for shooting, and adjust the aperture via the control ring on the adapter.
3.Installation & Use: To install, first unlock the aperture lock on the G lens (if present). Then mount the lens onto the adapter and lock it, finally attach the combined unit to the camera. Adjust the aperture by rotating the control ring on the adapter.
