This is a specialized manual adapter ring designed for macro photography, featuring a built-in AF confirmation chip. It allows you to mount Canon FD-mount lenses onto compatible Olympus Four Thirds system DSLR camera bodies. Precision-crafted from brass and aluminum alloy, it provides a solid connection. The integrated chip provides focus confirmation (beep or indicator light) when manual focus is achieved. Please note: this is a dedicated macro extension adapter that does NOT support infinity focus. It is optimized for close-up photography, enabling high magnification ratios.

3.Fixed EXIF Data: The chip transmits fixed, non-programmable EXIF data (50mm F2.8) to the camera for file management. This data is preset and cannot be changed, and does not reflect the lens's actual focal length or aperture.
4.Precision Metal Construction: Made from precisely machined brass and aluminum alloy, ensuring a tight, wobble-free fit between lens and camera for stability and durability.
5.Fully Manual Operation: This is a mechanical adapter with no aperture linkage. All automatic functions are disabled. You must set the aperture manually via the lens's aperture ring and use stop-down metering when taking a photo.

Important Usage Notes
1.Required Camera Mode: Set your camera to Manual (M) mode or Aperture Priority (A) mode.
2.Manual Aperture Control: Aperture must be set manually using the lens's aperture ring.
3.Stop-Down Metering: As the aperture data is not communicated, you must use stop-down metering. Press the camera's Depth-of-Field Preview button (or use the assigned function) to close the lens diaphragm to the set aperture for accurate metering before taking the shot.
4.Focusing and Shooting: Manually focus using the lens's focus ring while observing the AF confirmation indicator in the viewfinder. Once the focus confirm light illuminates (or beeps), take the picture.
