Description
This precision adapter mounts Bronica SQ medium format lenses on L-mount mirrorless cameras including Leica SL and Panasonic Lumix S series. All-metal construction and accurate flange distance ensure infinity focus and secure fit. Classic 6x6 SQ optics work manually on modern L-mount bodies.
Key Features：
1、Medium format lens adaptation: Supports Bronica SQ lenses from SQ, SQ-A, SQ-Am, SQ-Ai, SQ-B and Zenzanon S/PS optics, covering 35mm fisheye to 500mm telephoto.
2、Fully manual operation: No electronic contacts. Autofocus, auto aperture and auto metering are disabled. Set aperture and leaf shutter speed on the lens, focus manually.
3、Precision metal construction: Machined metal mount with matte interior, stable and wobble-free. Heavy lenses should be used with a tripod or lens support.
4、Infinity focus support: Calibrated to L-mount flange distance for infinity with common SQ focal lengths. Use focus assist for critical focus.
5、Optimized image circle: The 6x6 image circle covers full-frame L-mount sensors with good edge performance, preserving the medium format look.
Important Notes：
1、Use manual exposure mode (M). Set focal length and aperture data in the camera menu for manual lenses when available.
2、SQ lenses have leaf shutters. Set shutter speed on the lens; enable electronic shutter or no-lens shooting in the body as needed.
3、No EXIF or automatic lens communication; a no-lens message may appear. This is normal.
4、Use a tripod or lens support for heavy medium format optics.
Compatibility：
1、Lenses: Bronica SQ-mount lenses (SQ, SQ-A, SQ-Am, SQ-Ai, SQ-B; Zenzanon S/PS).
2、Cameras: L-mount mirrorless cameras including Leica SL (Typ 601), SL2, SL2-S, SL3, Panasonic Lumix S5, S5II, S5IIX, S1, S1R, S1H, S9 and other L-mount bodies.
