Description
This precision adapter mounts Bronica SQ medium format lenses on Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. All-metal construction and correct flange distance provide a secure fit and infinity focus, so classic 6x6 SQ optics can be used manually on modern Z digital bodies.
Key Features：
1、Medium format SQ support: Works with SQ, SQ-A, SQ-Am, SQ-Ai, SQ-B and Zenzanon S or PS SQ-mount lenses, covering 35mm fisheye, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 80mm, 110mm macro, 135mm, 150mm, 180mm, 200mm, 250mm, 500mm and more.
2、Fully manual operation: No electronic contacts. Autofocus, auto aperture, auto metering linkage and electronically controlled stabilization are disabled. Set aperture and leaf-shutter speed on the lens, focus manually.
3、Precision metal construction: Machined metal mounts for a stable, wobble-free fit with matte interior to reduce flare. Heavy lenses should be used with a tripod or lens support.
4、Infinity focus: Calibrated to Nikon Z flange distance for infinity with wide-angle, standard and telephoto SQ lenses. Use viewfinder magnification or live view for critical focus rather than distance marks alone.
5、Image circle optimization: The 6x6 medium format image circle covers full-frame Z sensors with good edge performance. APS-C Z bodies crop the field of view and ultra-wide lenses may show vignetting.
Important Notes：
1、Use manual exposure mode. Nikon Z cameras can store non-CPU lens data such as focal length and maximum aperture to help IBIS calibration and EXIF recording.
2、SQ lenses use leaf shutters; set shutter speed on the lens. If the camera requires shooting without a recognized lens, enable electronic shutter and no-lens mode as needed.
3、No automatic lens communication. Some bodies may show a no-lens message, which is normal for manual adapters.
4、For heavy medium format optics, use a tripod or lens bracket to reduce stress on the camera mount.
Compatibility：
1、Lenses: Bronica SQ-mount medium format lenses, including SQ, SQ-A, SQ-Am, SQ-Ai, SQ-B and Zenzanon S/PS optics.
2、Cameras: Nikon Z mirrorless cameras, full-frame Z9, Z8, Z7, Z7 II, Z6, Z6 II, Z6 III, Z5, Z5 II, Zf, ZR; APS-C Z50, Z50 II, Zfc, Z30 and similar Z bodies.
