This is a specialized manual adapter ring designed for macro photography, featuring a built-in AF confirmation chip. It enables the use of Leica M39 (L39) screw-mount lenses on compatible Olympus Four Thirds system DSLR camera bodies. Precision-machined from aluminum alloy, it is both lightweight and durable. The integrated chip provides focus confirmation (beep or indicator light) when accurate manual focus is achieved. Please note: This is a dedicated close-up extension adapter designed for macro work and does NOT support focus at infinity. It is optimized for capturing fine details of subjects like still life, flowers, and insects.

1.AF Confirmation Chip: The built-in chip triggers the focus confirmation signal (beep or viewfinder indicator) when precise manual focus is reached, aiding in faster and more accurate focusing. (This is a focus aid, NOT autofocus. Manual focusing via the lens ring is still required).
2.Dedicated for Macro Shooting: Engineered specifically for close-up photography. It does not allow focus at infinity. It significantly reduces the minimum focusing distance, providing high magnification ratios ideal for macro work.
3.Fixed EXIF Data: The chip transmits fixed, non-programmable EXIF data (50mm F2.8) to the camera for file management. This data is preset at the factory and cannot be altered, and does not represent the lens's actual parameters.
4.Precision Aluminum Construction: Crafted from high-quality aluminum alloy, it offers a precise, secure, and wobble-free connection between the lens and camera, ensuring stability during shooting.
5.Fully Manual Mechanical Operation: This is a non-electronic, mechanical adapter. All automatic functions are disabled. Aperture must be set manually via the lens's aperture ring, and stop-down metering is required for exposure measurement.

Important Usage Notes
1.Required Camera Mode: Set your camera to Manual (M) mode or Aperture Priority (A) mode.
2.Manual Aperture Control: Aperture must be set manually using the lens's aperture ring.
3.Stop-Down Metering: As aperture data is not communicated, you must use stop-down metering. Press the camera's Depth-of-Field Preview button to stop down the lens to the set aperture for accurate metering before shooting.
4.Focusing and Shooting: Manually focus using the lens's focus ring. Observe the AF confirmation indicator in the viewfinder. Once the confirm signal activates, take the picture.
