Pixco AF Confirm Mount Adapter Ring for Kiev 60 Pentacon 6 Lens to Sony A Minolta MA Camera A77 II A68
Description:
Pixco AF confirm mount adapter ring with built-in focus confirmation chip, engineered to connect classic Kiev 60 (Kiev 60) / Pentacon 6 P6 bayonet medium format lenses to the Sony A mount (Alpha) and Minolta MA mount DSLR/SLT system. The chip provides a focus confirmation dot in the viewfinder when manual focus is accurate, bringing a much easier manual focusing experience to legendary East German P6 optics on modern bodies. Precision-machined from aluminum alloy with black anodized finish, featuring lens lock/release button and stop screw for a secure connection. Supports manual infinity focus.
Key Features:
1.Revive Classic P6 Lenses: Perfectly adapts Kiev 60 and Pentacon 6 P6 bayonet lenses-the legendary East German optical system-bringing new creative life to this lens series on the extensive Sony A mount platform.
2.Focus Confirmation Aid: The integrated chip activates the focus confirmation dot in the viewfinder when manual focus is achieved, significantly improving focusing accuracy. This is an aid, not autofocus.
3.Fixed EXIF Data: The chip transmits fixed EXIF information to the camera: 50mm focal length at F1.7. This data is factory locked and cannot be edited or changed.
4.Infinity Focus Guarantee: Designed to strict flange distance conversion standards to maintain precise focus from close-up to infinity, utilizing the lens's full optical potential.
5.All-Metal Precision Build: Aluminum alloy construction with black anodized finish, featuring lens lock/release button and stop screw for a secure, wobble-free connection.
Important Usage Notes:
NOT compatible with A99 series: This adapter does NOT fit Sony A99 and A99 II cameras.
EXIF Data Locked: The chip's EXIF data is locked at 50mm F1.7 from the factory and cannot be edited or changed. The aperture value displayed on the body is for reference only; actual aperture must be adjusted manually on the lens.
Not Autofocus: Focus confirmation is NOT autofocus. This is a purely mechanical adapter that does NOT support autofocus, auto aperture, or any electronic communication. Aperture and focus must be fully manually controlled.
Exposure Mode: M (Manual) or A (Aperture Priority) mode is recommended, using "Stop-down metering" for exposure measurement.
Mounting Method:
Align the red dot on the adapter with the red dot on the lens collar
Turn the adapter clockwise until the locking click
M or A mode is recommended for shooting
Removal Method: Remove both lens and adapter together from the camera, press the lens lock release, then unscrew the adapter from the lens simultaneously.
Image Stabilization: Since the body recognizes the F1.7 aperture value, the AS (Anti-Shake) stabilization function on supported bodies can operate normally.
