3.Chip Parameter Note: The chip's data is fixed at F2.8, 50mm focal length and is not programmable or changeable. This data is used only to activate the camera's focus confirmation function and does not affect the actual aperture or focal length of the image.

5.Fully Manual Operation: This is a mechanical adapter with a communication chip. All automatic functions (auto aperture/AE metering, autofocus, VR) are disabled. Full manual focus (MF), Manual (M) exposure mode, and aperture setting via the lens's aperture ring are required.
Important Usage Notes:
1.Core Functionality: This adapter provides infinity focus via an optical element and focus confirmation via a chip. All exposure parameters must be set manually.
2.Camera Setting: Ensure your camera supports and has focus confirmation enabled for non-CPU lenses. The "Shoot without lens" option may also need to be enabled depending on the model.
3.Operation & Limitation: Focusing is fully manual. The chip's fixed parameters (F2.8, 50mm) are solely for triggering focus confirmation; the actual aperture and focal length are determined by the lens settings. Use the camera in Manual (M) mode.

Critical Compatibility Warning: Takumar lenses, or ANY M42 lens with a protruding, non-retractable aperture lever/pin, is NOT compatible with this adapter. Please inspect the rear of your lens carefully before installation to avoid damage.
